Bringing families, children and the wider community together through a variety of activities and educational opportunities.
Playbusters are committed to the provision of high quality services for children, young people and the wider east end community. We carry out weekly club activities in a number of venues in the east end and organise and deliver large community events.
We also have a remit to work with Land Services and GHA on their Play Area Strategy through working towards provision of high quality play areas and services for our young people. We are heavily involved in Beardmore Park through the organising of events and support of Friends of Beardmore Park and Young Friends of Beardmore Park.
Playbusters support parents and community groups throughout the east end of Glasgow. We are looking to involve more parents in services and play opportunities in their areas.
Parents benefit from meeting together and playing together with their children and this is supported through a wide range of activities, workshops and training.
The sessions are a lot of fun for parents and children alike and provide the opportunity to increase social networks and improve service delivery.
Play activities include creative arts, music sessions, drama based workshops and much more.
Other projects include our Intergenerational workshops, schools projects which include eco workshops and art/regeneration projects.
