Our main objectives are:

Empowering people to take responsibility by co-ordinatiing training & development for parents which offer them basic skills in play and chilcare, encompassing work placements, experience & formal qualifications.


Providing a forum enabling partner agencies and the community to work together in delivery of play opportunities.


Supporting the expansion of parent groups providing play experiences in their own areas.


Removal of barriers to parent participation, particularly those relating to child care.


Auditing service provision & facilities to quantify what is available.


Working with parents & agency partners to actively break down territorial barriers.


To promote the care and education of children of the residents of the East End of Glasgow and to promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupations of such children in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life and to enable parents to work or pursue further/higher education or training.


To advance education among residents of the East End of Glasgow, particulary among children, young people and the unemployed.


To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the East End of Glasgow in obtaining paid employment.


To promote, establish and operate other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community within the East End of Glasgow.
