Over the past years we have been working with three local schools through their eco-committees: Quarrybrae, St.Marks and St.Michaels. We have carried out bulb planting at Beardmore Park, community garden at Cuthelton Terrace Sheltered Housing and our new plot at Westhorn Allotments. We recently held an eco event at Beardmore Park to bring the three schools together and the children were treated to a talk on recycling, snake display, bulb planting and were presented with a certificate for their work. Future work is planned through our allotment, a rooftop garden in Parkhead and a community garden in Bridgeton.
